Registered product & Drug price lists

To better serve the citizen who wants to consult the maximum price at which to buy medicines at pharmacies and drugstores, the CMED Drug Price List has changed its format. As of now, the drugs are ordered by active principle, pharmaceutical form and concentration, as well as the Public Purchase List, making it easier to consult and compare prices.

The amendment partially complies with the determinations made by the European Court of Auditors, which has made it easier to research and compare medicines prices.

It should also be noted that Price Lists are also published in spreadsheet format, allowing for any classification and editing of filters.

1) Medication Prices (Factory Price and Maximum Consumer Price)

The list of Prices of Medicines contemplates the Factory Price or Manufacturer Price which is the price practiced by the companies that produce or import the product and by the distribution companies. The PF is the maximum price allowed for sale to pharmacies, drugstores and public administration entities. It also presents the Maximum Consumer Price, which is practiced by pharmacies and drugstores. The PMC is the maximum price allowed for sale to the consumer and includes taxes per state.

2) Medication Prices for Public Purchases
The Drug Price List for public purchases contains the price ceiling by which Public Administration entities can buy drugs from laboratories, distributors, pharmacies and drugstores. Included in this list is the PMVG - Maximum Price to the Government, which is the price ceiling for the purchase of medicines included in the list of products subject to the CAP (Price Acquisition Coefficient) or any medication purchased by virtue of a judicial decision and the Factory Price - PF, which is the price ceiling for the purchase of any medicine by Public Administration entities, when CAP is not applicable. This List, which will be updated every month, initially covers only monodroga prices. The Factory Prices (PF) of the presentations that contain two or more active principles in association can be consulted in item 1) Prices of Medications (Factory Price and Maximum Price to the Consumer). Version  PDF - XLS (updated 20/12/2016)
